Woke up today. Got ready for work. Ate my cereal. Had my coffee. Headed to the basement to begin my work day. It was all of a 30 second commute to my desk. Usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour.
I was going through my morning agenda. Business as usual. When all of a sudden my phone cut out mid convo. I then noticed I was locked out no internet. What the fuck. How can I fix this while at home at 935am.
I quickly check to see if the Xfinity bill was paid since I got a new debit card and never put in the new one. It wasn’t due until April 8th. Then I see there is reported outages in my area. Xfinity decided it was a great time to do maintenance. Are you kidding me?
After trying to contact someone I decided to read the whole message. The maintenance said it was going to take 30 minutes to an hour. Let me tell ya. They took the whole entire hour. I literally was about to freak out.
Millions of Americans are currently working from home. So why in the world would they decide to do maintenance and cut out internet at 930 am. They know most people are working from home. It even told me it was affecting 506-1001 people in my area. It eventually came back on and I went on about my day. I’m sure everyone else had a panic attach just like I did during that.
Safe to day after this coronavirus shit is over with I will be shopping for cable and internet service. Sixers suck. Go birds.
